Dorchester Strength and Conditioning classes combine a periodised strength programme with high intensity workouts that utilize kettlebells, dumbells, med balls, battling ropes and slam balls.
We focus on functional movements which are defined as multi joint exercises that mimic real life movement patterns, so we squat, hinge, push and pull. Intensity is earned through consistently demonstrating the correct mechanics.
This is not a class where you switch off and go through the motions. Instead we treat strength and conditioning as a “deliberate practise” where clients will be expected to record results and seek constant improvement.
All potential clients are invited to attend a trial week to sample our classes and see which discipline would best suit their training goals and schedule before committing to regular training at the AGOGE.
